Welcome to Thistledown Lodge.  We are a family run business offering beautifully presented, self-contained accommodation with stunning far-reaching views across to Dartmoor. This stylishly decorated open-plan lodge provides plenty of space to relax or work remotely, making it an ideal choice for couples, walkers, or travellers looking for a convenient and comfortable stay.

  • 35 minute drive to Exeter (60 minutes by bus)
  • Easy reach within 50 minutes to many local beaches, including Bude, Widemouth, Croyde and Padstow.
  • Short drive to many historical sites including, Tintagel, home of King Arthur, Okehampton, Launceston and Drogo Castles
  • A mecca for cycling enthusiasts, with easy access to the Granite Way, Tarka Trail, Ruby Way, Haldon Forest and many more.

We have a strict no smoking / no vaping policy throughout the lodge and surrounding grounds.

Small dogs welcome - a small surcharge will be required. Dogs are not to be left unattended in the lodge.
